For this specific case, Galbiati has recently introduced subcontracting for pay-offs spindle shafts.

We are perfectly capable of processing any type of rolling mill components. For this specific case, Galbiati has recently introduced subcontracting for clamping and contrasting segments.

After the machining cycle, the segments are tested with its ZEISS MMZ-G 30 60 25 three dimensional coordinate measuring machine to ensure perfect geometry and the appropriate interchangeability with the original roof panels .

Machining of Rolling Mill Components
We perform contract machining of mill housings.
Mill stand housing machining is carried out on CNC machine tools. The final geometry is inspected with a CAM2 Laser Tracker Xi system to ensure that all working and backup surfaces are within the requested dimensional tolerances, flatness, parallelism, and squareness.
